Google Play policies require apps to provide a path for users to delete their account. At Savayas Yoga, we ensure this process is simple and transparent.
Warning: Account deletion is permanent. Once your account is deleted, your session history, preferences, and support messages cannot be recovered.
Step 1: Delete from Mobile App (Recommended)
To delete your account via the SavayasYoga app, follow these steps:
- Open the SavayasYoga app and log in.
- Go to the Profile tab (bottom right).
- Scroll down to Account Settings.
- Tap on Delete Account.
- Confirm your request. Your data will be scheduled for immediate deletion.
Step 2: Web-based Deletion Request
If you no longer have the app installed, you can request deletion by contacting us directly:
- Email: Send an email to official@savayasyoga.com with the subject "Account Deletion Request". Include your registered phone number or email.
- In-App Support: If you can still access the app, you can message the manager through the Help & Support chat for account closure.
Data Retention & Deletion Types
When you request deletion, Savayas Yoga handles your data as follows:
- Persona Information: Name, Email, and Phone number are permanently purged from our database.
- Transactional Data: Payment logs are kept for accounting and legal purposes as required by Indian law (statutory compliance), but will be anonymized.
- Session Records: Your personal attendance records are deleted.
Timeline: Once a request is confirmed, your account access will be revoked immediately. Data is physically purged from our production servers within 48 hours.
